Get Well Soon Smoothie

If, while stocking your liquor cabinet for New Year's Eve, you realize January 1st might hurt a bit, keep this vigorous smoothie recipe on-hand to help rehydrate with antioxidants, vitamins and potassium so you can actually enjoy New Year's Day. - serves 2!

You'll need: 

- 4c coconut water 

- 1 c purple kale, chopped 

- 1/2 c frozen strawberries

- 1/2 c blueberries 

- cranberry juice 1/2c

What to do: 

Blend and enjoy! 

*chef's note: you may want earmuffs on-hand for the blender noise factor (depending on what you had the night before). Make certain you locate the blender lid the day ahead - simply covering with your hand will lead to a whole different type of headache!* 

* chef's second note: If you need a little rest after making and drinking le smoothie, and find that you'e let fruity goodness dry to the insides of your blender, simply add warm water and dish soap to the blender and blend for 30 seconds before washing.*
