Just Brie Yourself!

After painstaking attempts, I made a spreadable, tangy, sweet, salty and very satiating "brie" out of a tofu and cashew mixture. After it was baked, a sweet bourbon reduction with walnuts was poured overtop. It's great to spread on toast or crackers... I love the sweet and salty combination. Before becoming vegan, I had a baked gorgonzola situation at a holiday party with the same type of syrupy, nutty sauce. I've been trying to make something as delicious ever since.

Friendly Food!

Whoa! Long overdue post!Years and years ago (okay, it was last month), my pal Taylor so graciously gave (yes, GAVE) me her CSA share.Beets, red potatoes, dill, green beans, cabbage, onions and beautiful bulbs of garlic. The best gift I could have received (besides a kitten. But joking aside, please don't give me a kitten. Unless you'd also like to give me a bigger apartment... and then... who are you?).

Get Dressed!

In case you haven't noticed, it's sort of melty outside. Keep cool with this refreshing, creamy tomato and garlic dressing... instantly turning plain ol' salad into a stress-free, cook-free summer dinner. You might not want to get dressed... but your greens do! (...

It's In The Bag

A sweet lady I cook for suggested I start snapping shots of my lunch customers. Here are some! I love each and every one of you guys and gals and really enjoy seeing your faces when I show up.
